Vision
CEMI Bible College and Seminary grew out of a burden of CEMI Executive Director Dr. Kelvin McCune for an institution to train pastors and lay workers who have had no formal Bible training. Many pastors, particularly in the urban Washington D.C. area and in third world countries are ministering without the benefit of attending Bible college. Many cannot afford the expense of attending college, while others may not have the academic background or the opportunity to attend Bible college.
Dr. McCune recognized this gap in training pastors and workers, and also recognized the need for solid, Bible training and discipling in this age where false doctrine abounds. CEMI Bible College and Seminary is the result of this vision.
CEMI Bible College and Seminary’s vision is to reach out and provide Bible training to saints throughout the United States and around the world, via distance learning. Additionally, our vision is that God would establish extension schools in third world countries such as Guyana, Kenya and Uganda, Liberia, Congo, India and raise up saints in these countries to labor as teachers and staff workers.
