Our purpose is to equip and assist churches in fulfilling the great commission. Our Lord told us to go and make disciples of all nations. We have to teach all new disciples what the scriptures say about Christ our savior. They will then, by the power of the Holy Spirit proclaim the good news.
Our savior commanded us to be hospitable, to feed the hungry, to give drink to the thirsty, to give clothing to the needy, and to provide medical care for the sick. As we minister to the needs of others we are serving our Lord by reflecting His love to the world. Our medical doctors are send to countries worldwide, and we provide food, medicine, clothing and other items which are distributed according to the need.
We are commissioned to teach God's word. Christ's disciples need to be able to correctly explain the word of truth. Our theological training provides pastors and lay workers with a solid and comprehensive Bible education which cultivates continued spiritual growth in order that they may be more effective in their ministries.
For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve. - 1 Corinthians 15:3-5
The truth is: Christ died for our sins and rose from the dead.
The question is: What the Word of God says you should know in order to be saved?
Understand your sinful condition before God. “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” - Romans 3:23 God declares the soul who sins is the one who will die. (Ezekiel 18:4)
Know that Jesus took care of the consequence or price of your sins.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. - Romans 6:23
God wants you to repent. He wants you to change your mind, change your heart, change your action, and admit you are a sinner as you turn to God. Repent, and then turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away. (Acts 3:19) God’s Word declares, “Let the wicked forsake his ways and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the LORD… for He will freely pardon.” - Isaiah 55:7
You must choose to believe in Jesus Christ as your Savior.
For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. - John 3:16
You must believe that Christ took the full penalty of your sins (though He is Holy and without sin). Our sins nailed Him to the cross, and by His stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5) You must believe in Jesus as your Savior. The Bible tells us: Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved. (Acts 16:31)
Do not refuse to accept God’s Word. Do not refuse to accept Jesus as your Savior. God warns us in His Word:
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. - John 3:18
God, Father in Heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I admit that I am a sinner. I believe that Christ came, He suffered, He was crucified, He died, He was buried, He rose on the third day, and He is now in heaven. By his death, burial and resurrection, He paid the price for my sin. Lord Jesus, I believe you are my Savior. I believe you died for me. By faith I receive this gift of eternal life. Thank you for saving me. Please teach me to know how to live to serve you. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.
Our Lord Jesus invites us to be His disciple. He wants us to know the Word, experience His Word and teach others how to live by His Word. A disciple literally means a learner, a student and a follower. Our salvation occurs at the moment when, after having received the Gospel message, we put our faith in Christ as our Lord and Savior. While this experience may be instantaneous, discipleship must be learned by being taught the Word of God. As we become Christ’s disciples, we then disciple others. Thus discipleship is a way of life. Discipleship necessitates that we continue in the Word.
Our Lord Jesus said, “If ye continue in my Word, then are ye my disciples indeed.” (John 8:31)
What is at the heart of our discipleship program? To glorify our Heavenly Father by equipping God’s people to bear much fruit. Jesus also said, “Herein is my Father glorified…so shall ye be my disciples.” (John 15:8)
