The purpose of the C.E.M.I.'s Prayer Ministry for Pastors is to follow in the steps of the Lord Jesus Christ in interceding for God's servants. The C.E.M.I.'s Prayer Ministry for Pastors will serve to connect pastors globally in order to identify the needs for their ministries and families. These identified needs for each pastor will be revealed to other pastors via the Internet. As the C.E.M.I. Pastors' Fellowship collaborates with the pastors globally, we believe that the Holy Spirit will supernaturally move pastors to pray for the needs of their fellow pastors. The Lord commands us through Apostle Paul to pray for all saints.
Ephesians 6:18 "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints."
Prayer is the biblical foundational vehicle used by God to advance His kingdom and to work supernaturally through His Servants.
The Bible is replete with examples of how God's supernatural power was displayed and His mighty works accomplished through His servants as they fasted, prayed and praised Him.
Our Lord Jesus Christ demonstrated to His disciples that prayer is significant in every aspect of life. He demonstrated this through His three-year ministry as His disciples observed Him in constant prayer with His Father. He also taught them clearly the significance of prayer.
Luke 18:1-8 "Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart..."
Our Lord Jesus' exhortation to His Disciples about the importance of prayer is reflected in many Scriptures.
John 14:12-14 Jesus said, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it."
John 15:16 "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you."
John 16:23-24 "And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full."
Matthew 7:7-8 "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened."
Mark 11:22-26 "And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses."
